Amaravati: On the occasion of the birth anniversary of social reformer, poet, singer and devotee of Krishna consciousness, Chief Minister Chandrababu Chandrababu expressed his best wishes at ‘X’. His efforts to bring change in the society are unforgettable. Born in Karnataka, Guru Kanakadasa is hailed as a social philosopher who brought awareness to the caste system and inequalities in Rayalaseema as well. Honorable Kanakadasa, who reminded the need for everyone to work for the betterment of BCs, their cultural traditions, revealed. His teachings on the path of devotion are applicable even today. He said that the teachings given by him many years ago in a simple language that people can understand are also a guide for today’s society so that we can understand the vision of that great man. He said that he sincerely believes that the teachings of Guru Kanakadasa will help guide the society in the right way. That is why the state government has issued an order to organize Kanakadasa Jayanti across the state, the CM said.
