TTD: Termination of Srivani Trust

Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam (Thithide) Board of Trustees meeting concluded. In the meeting several important decisions were taken including cancellation of Srivani Trust.

Tirumala: Thithide ( TTD News ) has decided to take steps to ensure that the devotees who come for Sarvadarshan get the blessing of darshan within 2 to 3 hours . Pagan employees working in Thitide will be handed over to the government. To this extent, key decisions were taken in the meeting of the board of trustees chaired by BR Naidu, the chairman of Tithide. It was decided to dissolve the Srivani Trust. BR Naidu revealed the details of the meeting to the media.

He said that it has been decided to name the upper bridge of Srinivasa Setu as Garuda Varadhi. Garbage in Tirumala dumping yard will be removed in 3 months. We will take action without talking about politics in Tirumala. Transfer money from private banks to government banks. We will cancel the lease of Sharadapeeth and take possession of the place. We are completely canceling Darshan tickets through tourism. We are canceling the permits of the newly constructed Mumtaz Hotel. BR Naidu stated that we will provide an opportunity to the people of Tirupati to have darshan on the first Tuesday of every month.

TTD: How can darshan of Srinivasa be completed in 2-3 hours?

(TTD News) Thousands of devotees come every day to have a glimpse of the living God of Kali Yuga, Tirumalesh. For this there are various types like Rs.300 Special Entrance Darshan, Rs.10,500 Special Darshan, Earned Services, Slot Darshan, Sarvadarshan. It is noteworthy that most of the devotees are ordinary devotees.

Thousands of devotees come regularly to have a glimpse of Kaliyuga’s living God Tirumalesh ( TTD News ). For this there are various types like Rs.300 Special Entrance Darshan, Rs.10,500 Special Darshan, Earned Services, Slot Darshan, Sarvadarshan. It is noteworthy that most of the devotees are ordinary devotees.

  • During peak hours, one has to wait for about 30 hours to see Swami in the second Q complex of Vaikuntam.
  • Slot darshan means darshan time is allotted through Aadhaar card in Srinivas and Vishnu. This will complete the darshan within two or three hours.
  • But these tickets are limited. Also, in the past, some tickets were allocated under the name Divyadarshanam to the devotees who came on foot from Alipiri and Srivari Mettu. As part of this, darshan was completed within 2 or 3 hours
  • But the previous government canceled it.

Ivy Subbarao’s Policy ‘Bracelet’

  • Bangles were introduced less than two decades ago when Ivy Subbarao was the EO.
  • According to this, each devotee is tagged with a bracelet like a wristband. This bracelet is waterproof type.
  • It was used in many centers in Tirupati as well as in Renigunta and other places. With this method we can go at the allotted time and have darshan in two or three hours.
  • Chairman BR Naidu has mentioned this issue earlier. This is likely to be re-implemented.

 Focus on the short?

  • Till 30 years ago even the common devotee used to visit Moolavirat at the nearest place i.e. Kulasekharapadi. At present only VIPs and Rs.10,500 darshan are allowed up to that point.
  • In the later period it was established as Lagudarshanam. According to this, they used to go from the Sannidhi of the Garudalwar to the Snapana Mandapam, passing Jayavijay.
  • Later this too was canceled and darshan is being offered from the presence of Garudalwar. It is named Mahalaghu Darshan.
  • At least a short darshan gives the feeling of being in the presence of God. Achyuthu’s devotees want the governing body to consider this.
