Moscow, Kiev: Is the world on the verge of another nuclear war? These suspicions are getting stronger when we see the intensity of the war between Russia and Ukraine. The US allowing Ukraine to launch long-range missiles at its own country has angered Russian President Vladimir Putin. With this, he brought the use of nuclear weapons to the fore. The nuclear draft was amended to allow for the use of nuclear weapons in the event of a direct attack by the West. He also signed the document. It clearly states that if any country attacks them with the help of a nuclear-armed country, it will be treated as a joint attack. That is the clause that allows Russia to launch a nuclear attack on those countries regardless of who attacks them as an alliance. On the other hand, after accepting the permission given by the US, Ukraine simultaneously launched six long-range missiles (Army Tactical Missile System) at Russia. Russia announced that five of them were shot down and another was destroyed. Neighboring European countries have become alarmed in the wake of increasing war between the two countries. Some NATO countries have advised their people to stock up on baby food, medicine and drinking water. While Lithuania-Sweden; Suspicions are being raised that Russia is behind the cutting of undersea cables that provide internet between Finland and Germany. Meanwhile, US State Department spokesperson Matthew Miller has stated that he does not have any information regarding the permits to Ukraine.

American missiles hit Bryansk.

Russia has said that Ukraine launched the ATCMS (Army Tactical Missile System) missiles made by the superpower against its country for the first time. It claimed to have fired six missiles of this type over the Bryansk region. It said that five of them were demolished. Another one was destroyed. It said that there was no loss of life. He commented that Kiev has the right to attack military bases on Russian territory. Other countries should not interfere: UN 

UN Under-Secretary-General for Political Affairs Rosemary DeCarlo suggested that other countries should not intervene in the wake of the war between Russia and Ukraine. Expressed concern over the deaths caused by this war. Opposed to Russia’s large-scale offensive against Kiev. 

Ministers of European countries discussed aid to Ukraine

Warsaw: European foreign affairs ministers met in Warsaw on Tuesday to discuss the future of relations with the United States under the leadership of Donald Trump, and to further increase military aid to Ukraine, which is at war with Russia. Ministers from Poland, Germany, France and Italy attended the meeting. Foreign Ministers of Britain and Spain participated virtually.

Some NATO countries have started issuing instructions to their people on what to do if the Russia-Ukraine war escalates . Recently, Sweden and Finland distributed millions of leaflets giving necessary instructions to their people. It includes how to respond in times of war, communications disruptions, and power outages. It is known that these two countries have recently joined NATO. It includes instructions on storing water bottles, stationery and food items. Parents and guardians of children are advised to keep diapers, medicine and food stocks for children.


The dates for Putin’s visit to India next year are yet to be finalized

This visit will be a part of the annual visit of the leaders of both the countries to Russia-India. He said that the dates of Putin’s visit have not been finalized yet.
