I am questioning the leaders of India why they have formed a faction on my Kodangal constituency. No one has become a minister from Kodangal in recent times. Villages in our area have turned into deserts, if the upliftment scheme is sanctioned, they are blocking it. ‘Don’t do land acquisition? Do not put industries? Don’t give employment to the unemployed’.. KCR should answer this.

For development to happen, someone has to give land. The distressed farmers should be given maximum compensation and support. No excessive compensation can be given under the Land Acquisition Act. Therefore, I told the CS and officials that the values of the lands in that area should be tripled. If the value of the land is Rs.10 lakh per acre at present, if the compensation is Rs.30 lakh, the farmers will happily come forward and give the land. I have directed the authorities to give maximum compensation to those who are sacrificing lands for the reconstruction of the state. Is it good for Telangana if the leaders of India are obstructing us from taking land and setting up industries? Every year lakhs of students are passing out after completing their engineering degree. Our idea is to set up industries and give them jobs. Why did KCR miss the logic that industries cannot be set up without acquiring land?

Shouldn’t action be taken if farmhouses are built illegally?
Harish Rao built a farmhouse on the land taken under the Land Acquisition Act for the Ranganayakasagar project. We are calculating it. Kondapochamma project was built for KCR farmhouse.
