he Kumaraswamy Layout police have arrested duo among woman employee of a private hospital for stealing the probes of a scanning machine to repay huge amount of loan she has incurred.
The accused have been identified as Hemalatha and Manjunath.
Senior officer told reporters,Hemalatha,was working as assistant in the scanning lab in the hospital while Manjunath is a former employee.
The duo had started a hotel business in joint venture and incurred huge loss.In order to recover the loss,the duo decided to steal the expensive equipment.
Manjunath being worked in the hospital suggested Hemalatha to steal the probes of the scanners which are expensive and can be concealed to take it out easily .
As per the plan Hemalatha stole two probes and handed over to Manjunath,who was planning to sell it to the hospital and approached few but could not materialized the deal.
Meanwhile the police zeroed in on Hemalatha who was missing from work as soon as the complaint filed.The police managed to track down Hemalatha and from her information arrested Manjunath and recovered the probes from his house.
