26-year-old motorcycle rider was killed in a self accident occurred on RR Nagar main road in the early hours of Thursday.
The deceased identified as Prakhyath Nagaraju,was employee of a private airline company and returning home in the wee hours when he lost control and crashed into a tree in the middle of the road .
Senior officer told reporters,the rider was over speeding and not wearing helmet.Due to the impact the bike was damaged and Prakhyath sustained multiple injuries and was lying in a pool of blood.
Passers-by rushed to his help and shifted him to a near-by hospital in a car but the doctors declared it as brought dead.
The Kengeri police have registered a case of self accident against Prakhyath charging him against death due to negligence and rash and negligent driving .
The police are awaiting post mortem report for further investigations.
