The Byadarahalli police have arrested a 27-year-old cab driver and his friend for beating an autorickshaw driver to death over an illicit affair on Wednesday.
The accused Karthik,a cab driver and his associate Chetan Kumar,33,driver of the school bus,allegedly had an affair with the deceased Abhishek wife.Abhishek used to object and the couple were separated over this issue .
On Wednesday the accused confronted Abhishek and assaulted him black and blue Near Anupama School, An
drahalli.
Abhishek‘s younger brother Avinash also assaulted by the accused who he tried to intervene and save his brother.
The severely injured Abhishek was taken to a near-by hospital from there he was referred to Victoria hospital where he succumbed to his injuries on Thursday.
The accused according to the police had assaulted Abhishek with a Iron Kada,following which,Abhishek sustained severe head injuries and died of due to blood clot in the brain.
Avinash in his complaint,said that his wife Nischita and sister Nikhita,wife of his deceased and her mother Manjula were at the spot and instigated the accused to beat Abhishek.
