CM Siddaramaiah Kicks Off International Cricket Stadium Project in Tumakuru;Promises Cricket Stadiums for Tumakuru and Mysuru

T umakuru:Chief Minister Siddaramaiah stated that the construction of an international cricket stadium in the region will boost the development of the district.

Speaking after symbolically starting the construction by batting,the CM said,“We have allocated 50 acres of land to the Karnataka State Cricket Association (KSCA) for this stadium.

This project will significantly contribute to the district’s economic growth and development.”

He urged officials to complete the stadium construction at the earliest to fulfill the expectations of cricket enthusiasts.

Land for a Stadium in Mysuru Too.The CM added that the KSCA has requested land for a cricket stadium in Mysuru as well.“We will provide land in Mysuru too,”he assured.

Home Minister and Tumakuru district in-charge,G. Parameshwara,Cooperation Minister,K.N.Rajanna,Rural Development Minister,Priyank Kharge,the state’s Delhi representative,T.B.Jayachandra,district MLAs,KSCA President,Raghuram Bhat,and other officials were present at the function.

Siddaramaiah Hits Back at MLA Suresh Gowda’s Failed Protest Attempt:

Chief Minister Siddaramaiah didn’t hold back while addressing MLA Suresh Gowda,who allegedly tried to stage a protest during the CM’s visit but couldn’t pull it off.

“I’ve been in politics for 41 years—Leader of the Opposition twice,Chief Minister twice.If I was the kind to get scared,I wouldn’t be standing here today.I’ve done nothing wrong,so there’s nothing to fear,”the CM quipped, brushing off the protest attempt with ease.
