Habitual house burglar arrested by Annapoorneshwarinagar police and recovered stolen property worth Rs.1.3 Crore

Following a house break theft cases reported in August last year,the Annapoorneshwarinagar police with the help of chance finger print arrested a habitual offender involved in as many as 11 house breaks in and around 11 house break thefts reported in the city since Last year .

The police have also recovered valuables worth Rs.1.3 crore which he had pawned in Mumbai and Uttar Pradesh.

City police commissioner,B.Dayananda while appreciating the police for cracking down the case,said that the accused is a habitual offender involved in over 65 criminal cases including three contact killing and also under arms act.

The accused was arrested by UP police but got out on bail citing medical reasons.He came to the city and committed house breaks before fleeing with the valuables .

Following a chance finger print available at the scene of crime,the police identified the accused and reached Muradabad district prison where the accused was serving sentence in another case.

The police brought the accused in body warrant and a detailed questioning led him to confess to the crime including 11 house breaks .

Based on his confession the police recovered the pawned gold valuables from different jewellery including, Jaweri Bazaar in Mumbai,Gudgaon and Sambhal in UP.
The accused was handed over to the UP police after detailed investigations .

Appreciating good piece of investigations,Mr. Dayananda announced cash reward for the police team.
