Puducherry:Speaker R.Selvam has renewed his plea to the Central government for financial assistance to construct a new Assembly complex and administrative building in the Union Territory.
On Monday,Mr.Selvam met with Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman in New Delhi,requesting funds for the project.
Additionally,on Tuesday,the Speaker met with Union Law Minister,Arjun Ram Meghwal,Union Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting, L.Murugan,and Union Minister,Jitendra Singh to discuss various issues concerning the Union Territory.
