26-year-old nurse of a private hospital has filed a complained against her male friend for blackmailing her with private videos for sexual favours .
Based on the complaint the high grounds police on Friday registered a case against Akki Lakshmi Reddy,a private firm employee,charging him under rape, outraging modesty, criminal intimidation, intentional insult and also under SC ST atrocities Act for further investigation.
The victim in her complained said that the accused met her while she was working as executive in credit card company in 2019.
The accused befriended her and even invited her for the family program where the accused offered her tea laced with sedatives .
The victim fell unconscious after drinking the tea and the accused took her to a room and sexually assaulted her before recording the video of the act.
The accused soon started blackmailing her for sexual favours many times.The victim changed the job and became nurse at a private hospital but the accused continue to harass and threatened to make the video public if she did not cooperate.
The accused even assaulted and humiliated the victim many times when she objected and demanded him to marry her.
The accused using casteist slur refused to marry her and threatened her with dire consequences.
Unable to beat the harassment,the victim filed a complaint with the police seeking legal action.
