Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu is showing in practice that he

has only 121 staff and is managing with solid technology.
In the past, Jagan had 980 security personnel as CM
, check posts at every step, barricades along the road,
an annual cost of Rs. 90 crores. On Chandrababu’s orders, all of them are checked.

On that day..

When Jaganmohan Reddy was the Chief Minister, there were check posts at every step around the Tadepalli Palace. Barricades along the road. On the other hand, there was a complete ban on the movement of ordinary people. 24-hour security with octopus teams working in special operations. Excessive security with 980 personnel, more than any other Chief Minister of any state in the country. For this, an expenditure of Rs. 7.50 crore per month, Rs. 90 crore per year. Whenever he traveled anywhere outside, there was a heavy security presence with thousands of police in that area. Trees were cut down, traffic was stopped for hours, curtains were erected along the road, and all roads were closed two days in advance. In this way, people were made to suffer greatly in the name of security.

Today..

At present, only 121 policemen are providing security at the residence of Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu in Undavalli, across all shifts. There is no hustle and bustle anywhere. There is no obstruction to the movement of common people on that route. Chandrababu has made it clear to the police that there should be no culture of bringing hundreds of policemen from other districts for his tours and keeping them on the roads all day. He has suggested that police be deployed only as needed in other areas, except in remote areas of agencies that are most sensitive in terms of security.

Eenadu – Amaravati: Chandrababu Naidu, who has been saying that simple government and effective governance are his policies since the first day he took charge as the Chief Minister, is putting it into practice. He is continuing his tours without any fuss, fanfare, or extravagance. He suggested that instead of deploying more personnel, security measures should be taken using technology. Accordingly, the officials have taken several steps.

Inquiry on traffic stoppage

  • Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu, who said on the first day of taking charge that traffic should not be stopped for a long time for him, is it being implemented properly? He is personally monitoring it. If he notices that traffic is stopped for a long time anywhere while he is traveling in a convoy, he inquires with the authorities.
  • Chandrababu Naidu, who recently visited the Polavaram project, expressed dissatisfaction over the heavy deployment of police there for his security. He suggested that there was no need for heavy security and that security should be monitored through drones.
  • Chandrababu Naidu has ordered that only a limited number of personnel be deployed for security when he goes to private functions. He said that unnecessary restrictions on weddings and other auspicious events will cause inconvenience to those attending those events, and suggested that the security arrangements in such areas should be reduced.

    Security and surveillance with drones

Drone used for security

  • A drone equipped with cutting-edge technology has been installed for security and surveillance at Chandrababu’s residence in Undavalli and surrounding areas.
  • This drone flies up every two hours, observing the surroundings closely and filming the scenes.
  • If there is any movement anywhere that is different from normal conditions, or if new or suspicious objects are seen, a message is immediately sent to the monitoring team.
  • By analyzing the data sent by the drone, officials are monitoring security in the areas surrounding the CM’s house.
  • This technology allows quality work to be done even with fewer security personnel.
