Rowdy arrested under Goonda Act by CCB for his repeated offences of human trafficking for immoral activities

The Central Crime Branch officials on Saturday arrested a Rowdy under Goonda act for his repeated offences of human trafficking for immoral activities .

The accused Anil Kumar Reddy was allegedly running a high-tech prostitution racket in Bengaluru, bringing women from outside the state.

The CCB police had raided an international spa in KR Puram in January and rescued 44 women,including those from Thailand.

After the raid,the spa was shut down,but Reddy continued to operate,bringing women from Delhi, Maharashtra and West Bengal to Bengaluru for prostitution.

As many as four cases have been booked against him in AP and Mahadevapura including a rape case .

Reddy has been booked under various laws,including rape, and the Mahadevapura police have filed a report seeking action under the Goonda Act.

Based on the report, the police commissioner B Dayananda has ordered to invoke of the Goonda Act against Reddy, and he has been sent to Ballari jail,he added.
