wo men were killed after a train run over them near Binnipet railway gate on Magadi road LC2 on Wednesday night .
The duo identified as Surya KP,23,resident of Binnipet and his friend Sharath,27,from KP Agrahara.
Senior officer told reporters,While Surya a construction labourer Sharath worked as delivery executive for a online shopping company .
During probe it was revealed it is alleged that the duo was reportedly sitting on the railway track and drinking.
We suspected that they are so drunk that they could not realize a train coming from Mysuru and came under the moving train or they might be crossing the track to go other side of the road as it is totally slum and it was dark area.
The incident occurred when the gateman noticed the mutilated bodies on the track and alerted the police .
Immediately local police from neighbouring station with additional staff rushed to spot to control the crowd as huge crowd gathered near the tracks.
The Railway police too rushed to the spot shifted the bodies for post mortem.
A case of un natural death has been registered and the police are awaiting post mortem report to further investigations .
