ours after the tragic death of 10th standard student in a freak accident,the father of Tejaswini bai S,filed a complaint with the VV Puram police,alleging negligence of building owner, site engineer and even BBMP officials concerned which led to the death of his daughter.
Based on the complaint by Sudhakar Rao,the VV Puram police booked building owner,contractor,site Engineer, BBMP officials concerned and others charging them under section 106 ( death due to negligence) against them.
Tejaswini according to the complaint was a student of Vasavi Vidyaniketan returning home by walk after attending her school day program.
A wooden pole supporting the scaffolding at the 5th floor of the under construction building detached and crashed on her.
She sustained severe head injuries rushed to hospital where she succumbed later
There was no safety measures.No net no security cover at the construction site endangering the safety of people walking and caused the death of Tejaswini.
The BBMP officials concerned failed to monitor and ensure safety hence liable to be prosecuted,Mr.Rao,said.
The police have summoned the accused for questioning..
Based on their statements further action will be taken,a senior officer, said.
