n a tragic incident,a 38 year old software engineer along with his wife ended life after killing their minor children aged five and two years at their residence in RMV 2 nd stage on Monday
The deceased have been identified as,Anup Kumar,38, Rakhi,35,and children Anupriya 5,and Priyansh,2.
All are native of Allahabad UP .
Anup Kumar was working as software consultant in private firm,while Rakhi is home maker .
It is suspected that the couple has poisoned the children before hanging self
Police suspect financial problems could be the reason and further investigating to ascertain exact reason for their extreme step.
Probe revealed that multiple factors led to the extreme step.
Senior officer said,Anup had sent a distress mail to his brother on Sunday night citing that he had invested a huge sum of money in a business venture and was cheated.Due to this he was under depression and his wife was also having problems due to this reason.
He also stated that his daughter is physically challenged and had quit the job a month ago.
Multiple factors led to his death which is being probed.
The incident came to light when domestic help went to the house on Monday morning and found them dead.
The police have informed the parents of the deceased and expected to arrive tomorrow,following which the post mortem will be conducted, a officer,said.
Based on the post mortem report legal action will be initiated.
