Bengaluru SHOCKER! Miscreants cut 3 cows’ udders in Chamarajpet; Police launch investigation

n a shocking incident of cruelty to animal,miscreants slashed udders of three cows resting on roadside in pension mohalla in Vinayak Nagar,Chamarajpet on Saturday night,led to the hue and cry among the BJP party and right wing organizations demanding action .

The incident came light on Sunday morning when passers-by found the cows moaning in pain and bleeding and alerted the owner .

The owner of the cows identified as Karna rushed to the spot and alerted the police before informing his friends and relatives about the incident.

Soon the news of the attack spread like a wild fire and BJP leaders including opposition leader R Ashoka, Bengaluru Central MP, PC Mohan and leaders of the right wing organization gathered at the spot and demanded strict action against the perpetrators .

Senior police officials along with the FSL team rushed to the spot and conducted a detailed probe into the incident .

The police are verifying CCTV footage to identify the perpetrator while have taken up a case under section 325 ( commits mischief by killing, poisoning, maiming or rendering useless any animal ) of BNS for further investigations.

Speaking to the media R.Ashok,blamed the government and inaction of the police to maintain law and order which led to the attack .

“Cows are being worshipped and the attack is deliberate on the faith of the million of people.It is a terrorist act and the government should take serious note on the “ Jihadi “mindset of the people.

Apart from slashing udders,the attackers also stabbed the legs of the cows which indicate that it was a planned attack,These cows owned by RSS Activist and the cows which are attacked are used in a protest .

Hundreds of people gathered in the area and residents alleged that the law and order situation is poor and no security nor proper patrolling.The area is gaining notoriety for drug peddling and consumers .

Youth consumed drugs moved around openly in groups armed with blades and lethal weapons becoming difficulty for women and children to move.Many complaints raised but police not taking any action.

“If any residents object to the wayward behaviour, they are attacked and beaten up,a woman residents rued.We have our own houses here and cant even move out, she added.

Family of Karna alleged that the cows are targeted by a group of people who objected the cows for urinating on the road and soiling the area.We demand police to find out the people behind this act and take strict action”, the family members, said .

PC Mohan responding to the public reactions,said that there is no CCTV coverage in the area and assured to install CCTV cameras from the MP fund.

Members of Right Wing organization said that it was terror act to attack on the religious sentiments of Hindu to slash the udder which believe to be the adobe of 33 crore Hindu gods.

The VHP and Bajrangdal members who have also submitted petition to the cottonpet police said that it was a planned attack to create a fear psychosis among the hindus.

Recently there was a protest against the government move to handover the veterinary department hospital space to minority department .

Hundreds of people staged a protest and even these cows which are under attack are being used the petition,stated .

Chief Minister Siddaramaiah and Home Minister G, Parameshwara reacting to the incident condemn the attack and said that necessary instructions have been issued to the track down the perpetrators and ensure strict action.
