President of local mosque and three others booked by chamarajpet police for storming into police station and manhandling staff

T he Chamarajpet police have registered a case against the president of a local mosque and three others for storming into the police station along with a group of 40 people and manhandling the staff on Tuesday.

Based on the complaint filed by Anil Kumar,PSI,a case of assault or use of criminal force against a public servant and unlawful assembly against Mahboob Khan and three others .

The accused who had a dispute with another group over a trivial row had filed a complaint and counter complaint cases.

The accused later along a group of 40 people gathered at the station and created ruckus demanding the arrest of those who tried to attack him .

The police at the station tried to reason but the group went out of control and manhandled the staff and created ruckus demanding that the accused who attacked him should be arrested .

The police used additional force to contain the situation and detained a group for questioning for further investigation.

Mahboob Khan had complained earlier that a group of three men tried to kill him and his friends while he was in a car near Mysuru road flyover on Tuesday.

He further said that he saw three men dumped cement blocks from the flyover on his car and escaped.Due to the attack,the car was damaged and he along with three of his friends escaped unhurt.

Mahboob Khan in his complaint said that he saw the attacker and later filed a complaint with the police to take action and arrest the attackers immediately .
