Gadag:Former Chief Minister and MP Basavaraj Bommai praised the Pharmaceutical Traders’Association for their commendable efforts in saving lives through blood donation.

He was speaking at the inauguration of a massive blood donation camp jointly organized by the Gadag District Pharmaceutical Traders’ Association and Rotary Gadag Central at the Rotary Central Hall in Gadag on Friday .

He said the association is engaged in philanthropic work.Among many noble professions, the medical profession stands out as one rooted in humanity.

Supporting it through the pharmaceutical trade is indeed a virtuous task.Without pharmaceutical trade, the medical profession cannot thrive.

They are engaged in a noble work that complements the medical field. There exists a vital relationship between doctors and pharmacists.

Doctors rely on them, and they rely on doctors.Only a pharmacist can understand a doctor’s prescription. Each profession has its own unique relationships.

Lawyers and clients share a specific bond, just as politicians and citizens do.The moment a politician sees someone, they can understand why that person has approached them.

“By donating blood, you are providing an exceptional service and saving lives.Social responsibility is crucial. Just as medicine is vital in emergencies, so is blood donation.May your initiatives be successful.

I will support your efforts to construct a pharmaceutical building as much as possible,” the MP promised.
