Former Rowdy-Sheeter Fighter Ravi arrested by Sadashivanagar police for threatening businessman at gun point over financial row

The Sadashivanagar police on Friday arrested fighter Ravi a former rowdy sheeter for threatening a city based businessman at fun point over a financial row on Thursday.

Based on the complaint filed by Somashekhar , the police arrested B.M.Mallikarjun alias ‘Fighter Ravi’,a former rowdy sheeter,and his gunman on Thursday night charging them under assault,criminal intimidation and also under the Arms Act.

Fighter Ravi,a former rowdy sheeter was also infamous for his involvement in cricket betting had several criminal cases pending against him.

Ravi had also identified with BJP, and even managed to meet Prime Minister,Narendra Modi,during his visit to Mandya for campaign .

He later quit the party after he was denied an MLA ticket in 2023 In the last assembly elections he contested as independent candidate from Nagamangala assembly segment and lost the polls.

In a complaint,Someshekhar said that he had given business loan to his friend identified as Karthik few months ago and wanted to get it back.

Ravi intervened and threatened Someshekhar to stop bothering karthik .

On Thursday Ravi called Somashekhar to his office to warn and after heated argument allegedly threatened at gun point.

The duo was arrested and remanded to judicial custody.
