wo labourers were charred to death while another escaped narrowly in an accidental fire broke out at the multi storeyed residential under construction building in Seegehalli on Magadi road on Thursday.
The deceased have been identified as Uday Bhanu,40, and Roshan,23 from Bihar while another labourer escaped to the safety soon after the fire broke out,and rescued later .
The trio were working for wood interiors and used gas cylinder which leaked and led to the fire .
The other workers soon escaped to the safety but the Uday and Roshan were trapped and could not escape .
The fire control room received the call at around 11.10 am and three tenders rushed to the spot rescued the labourers and put out the fire after three hours of operations.
They later recovered the charred bodies while checking the debris .
The Magadi road police visited the spot and conducting a probe to ascertain the exact cause of the fire .
