he Gouribidanur police cracked a house break theft case and arrested a 50-year-old truck driver along with two of his associates and recovered valuables worth Rs. 35.15 lakh from them.
The accused Noorulla,resident of Jigani and his associates Vinod Markakar and Sagar had burgled the house of a businessman Ashwath Narayana Reddy and made away with 417 grams of gold valuables 2 kilograms of silver articles,other expensive gifts total worth Rs. 35.14 lakh.
Based on the complaint the police zeroed in on the accused and while on the hot pursuit,the car in which the police team were travelling lost control and toppled .
The injured police continued to chase and finally pin down the accused Noorulla .
Based on his information,the police arrested his associates and recovered the stolen valuables from the house which the accused had given it to his wife Ameena Bi.
The fourth accused Ameena Bi in this case is absconding and efforts are on to track her down, Chikkaballapur district,SP,Kushal Chowksey,said he had requested the people to keep their valuables and cash in bank lockers instead of homes.
