Bengaluru CCB’s ANW officers cracked the whip on 10 Foreign Nationals for overstaying,drug offences

Continuing crack down on illegal immigrants the Anti- Narcotics wing of the Central Crime Branch track down 10 Foreign National staying illegally in the city .

Based on specific inputs,the officials conducted search operations in Chikkajala and arrested three Foreigners including two men and a woman staying in a rented house.

Similar operations were carried in Hennur, Amruthahalli, Vidyaranyapura,Govindapura and Puttenahalli and arrested seven Foreign Nationals.

In Hennur case,the police recovered 55 grams of MDMA crystals and three kilos of Marijuana from the Foreign National .

The accused is a habitual offenders involved in similar case in Byappanahalli in the year 2024.He was out on bail and changed his location to peddle drugs,the officer, said .

The accused was booked under NDPS Act and remanded to judicial custody. Similarly the some of the accused arrested were also involved in drug peddling case and had changed location and jumped bail to continue the illegal activities.

While the accused involved in Hennur and Govindapura and Puttenahalli case have been remanded to judicial custody, the others have been produced before the FRRO and sent to Detention centre to carry out the deportation process,City police, Commissioner,B.Dayananda,said .
