he Chintamani police on Tuesday arrested a 52-year-old woman and recovered 5.7 kilograms of Marijuana worth Rs.1.5 lakh.
The accused Shabana,a construction labourer by profession was arrested after the police based on specific inputs raided her house and recovered the drugs .
Senior officer told reporters that Shabana was living with her husband Wazir Khan and children working as daily wage but her main profession is to peddler drugs .
The accused was operating from 2019 and had seven cases of NDPS against her,a senior officer, said .
The accused used to source the drugs from her contacts from Tamil Nadu and sell it to their customers .
