fficials of the Bureau of Indian standards on Monday raided Ibex Engineering Pvt.Ltd situated on Kanakpura road and sealed the factory for running illegally for two years .
The company involved in Aluminium Casting Factory for manufacturing,storing and selling the aluminium cast product for two years without acquiring the license made mandatory in 2023.
The BIS had given them two years time period to apply for and acquire the license until Dec 1,2024 to get the required license for the Quality Control Order,but the company failed to comply.
During the primary inspection by BIS in Jan 2025 they found that the factory is manufacturing the product without a license.
Based on the finding,a team of officials led by Narender Reddy,Scientist E and Director along with three officers and five staff raided the factory.
The officials seized approximately 5000 products , produced and stored without a license.
The owner of the company identified as Shrikanth G P and the administration staff have been issued notice to appear before the officials for questioning for further action.
