hree youth were killed after they were hit by a passenger train when recording videos on their mobile phones on the track near Siddanayakanahalli in the outskirts of the city on Wednesday .
The deceased have been identified as Rahul,18,Bikash, 20,and Lallan,24.
The deceased are from different parts of Uttar Pradesh and worked as carpenters in Doddaballapur.
The incident occurred late in the afternoon on Wednesday when the trio were had taken a break from work walking on the track and reportedly making videos on their phone .
During the investigation,it was found that the three were recording videos on their mobile phone possibly to post as reels on social media.As they were recording the video, they were hit by an approaching passenger train and killed on the spot .
The jurisdictional Yeshwanthpur railway police registered an Unnatural Death Report (UDR) and shifted the mangled bodies for post-mortem.
The police have informed the relatives of the deceased and further investigations are on.
