57-year-old Police Head constable was killed when a speeding car knocked down his motorcycle while he was on is way to work near Sadahalli gate in Chikkajala on Sunday night.
The deceased has been identified as Prakash MV, attached to Channarayanapattana police station.He was on his way to work when the car crashed his bike .
Due to the impact Prakash flew in the car and crashed on the car’s windscreen sustaining severe head injuries .
He was rushed to a near-by hospital where he succumbed to his injuries .
The deceased was wearing half helmet at the time of the accident.The Chikkajala traffic police have registered a case of death due to negligence and rash and negligent driving against the car driver for further investigation.
