Youth a house keeping staff who breached in Defence Minister Rajnath Singh convoy,hurt constable arrested by Cubbon Park Police

he Cubbon Park police have arrested a 22-year-old house keeping staff of mall for knocking down a head constable who was managing the convoy of Union Defence Minister Rajnath Singh On February 9 . 

The accused has been identified as Ahmed Dilwar Hussain.

Senior officer said,Hussain who was on his motorcycle heading towards Shivajinagar to drop his friend,when Head Constable,Suresh,35 attached to Cubbon park traffic police station managing the traffic,tried to stop Dilwar,near the Anil Kumble Circle.

The accused was in a hurry and tried to drive fast,knock down Suresh.Suresh sustained injuries and admitted him to the hospital .

Based on a complaint by the constable,The cubbon park police charged Dilwar under MV act and also under section 214 (refuse to answer a question asked by a public servant) section 121 (intentionally causing injury to a public servant while they are performing their duties) and 281 (rash driving or riding on public roads) and arrested him for further investigations .
