he Bommanahalli police have arrested a police constable among the two for raping a minor girl who had come to the station to file a sexual assault case .
The victim,who is around 17-year-old was initially lured by her neighbour identified as Vicky into the relationship promised to marry and sexually assaulted her repeatedly .
The accused even assaulted her and threatened with dire consequences not to reveal this to anyone.
Unable to bear the harassment the victim narrated her ordeal with her mother who along with the girl went to Bommanahalli police to file a complaint.
During this time,the accused identified as Arun Thonepa, met the victim and offered to help her file complaint to ensure punishment for Vicky and also help her to get a job.
He befriended the victim and took her to Paying guest accommodation and OYO room and raped her multiple times .
The accused even forced her to drink alcohol and later threatened that he had video recorded the act and will upload in social media if she reveal this to anyone .
The victim once again revealed this to her mother who approached the police and filed a complaint.
Based on the complaint the police registered an FIR against Arun and Vicky charging them under various sections of POCSO act and also under rape and criminal intimidation under BNS.
The duo was arrested and remanded to judicial custody .
