A three year old boy was killed and his mother injured when a coconut tree in front of their house crashed on them in Halaganahalli in gauribidanur rural police station limits on Sunday.
The deceased Prithviraj,was playing in front of his house while his mother Monika was sitting outside the house when the incident occurred .
Monika,who was pregnant and had come with her son to her mother’s house for delivery.She sustained multiple fracture injuries and admitted to a private hospital in Bengaluru where she is recovering.
The Goribidanur rural police visited the spot and registered a un natural death case for further investigations.
