The East Division Police have opened history sheet against 14 youth who were track down and arrested for performing bike stunts on KR Puram flyover flashing machete on the night of February 13.
The accused riding triple and without helmets and number plates flashed lethal weapons in the air while riding dangerously and performed bike stunts on the roads from DJ Halli till Hosakote .
The accused even recorded their act on mobile phones and uploaded on social media which went viral .
Based on the information,the police swung into action and with the help of CCTV cameras track down the accused and arrested them under arms act and also under various sections of MV act.
The police seized seven bikes used in the act and summoned the parents of the accused and recorded their under taking .
The accused have been subjected to medical examination to ascertain whether they were under the influence of alcohol or drugs,which was nagative .
After verifying their background,the police concluded that the accused are habitual offenders and opened a history sheet against them.
It may be recalled that the Bengaluru traffic police across Bengaluru has booked as many as 50 cases against youth performing bike stunts on public roads and flyover on the night of Shab-e-barat.
