History sheeter Hyder Ali murder case cracked by Ashoknagar police & arrested seven among prime accused

he Ashoknagar police have arrested a gang of seven for hacking their rival,rowdy sheeter Hyder Ali, to death near football stadium in the wee hours of Sunday .

The prime accused Nayaz Pasha has a rowdy sheet at the Ashoknagar police station and arch rival of Hyder Ali, the police, said .

The accused had old rivalry and Nayaz had plotted the murder few days ago and set out his associates to stalk him, the police, said .

At around 1.15 am on February 23,Ali,38,was returning home in Anepalya on his friend’s motorcycle after attending a party at a bar on Residency Road.

As their motorcycle reached the stadium,about 250 metres from Garuda Mall,the assailants stormed out of a waiting car the others followed him as soon as they left the bar reached and rounded up .

The assailants confronted Ali,while his friend,owner of a gym in JP Nagar,who rode the motorcycle,was assaulted he sustained minor injuries and forced to step away only to watch the attack .

Ali was then attacked with machetes and sharp weapons both in the front and the back and left to bleed on the road sustained over 56 stab injuries all over his body.He was declared dead at Bowring Hospital.

Police records show that a history sheet was opened against Ali at the Ashoknagar police station in 2014. He faced 11 cases, including attempted murder, assault, and drug-related offences.

“Special teams were formed under the Ashokanagar police inspector Ravi and after analysing CCTV feed and using local intelligence, the accused were apprehended.

They were taken into custody for further investigations to ascertain the role of others in the murder,a senior officer, said .
