n a major embarrassment to an IPS officer,the High court dismissed the case filed by Lakshman Nimbargi , the then West division DCP,against his junior officer .
Mr.Nimbargi had harassed the PSI working in his Jurisdiction after he refused to pay him money the DCP filed a complaint with the cyber crime police and his colleagues tortured the PSI,identified as Satish KT,on the pretext of inquiry threatening him to send him to jail and ruin his career.
unable to bear the harassment the PSI approached the high court which took cognizance and directed to quash the case filed against the PSI.
The court while quashing the case,said that the CCB failed to establish the charges pressed against the PSI, following which the court directed to drop all the charges and impugned the proceedings .
