arnataka Lokayukta Police have conducted search operations across the state in connection with complaints regarding disproportionate asset cases registered against eight Government Officers in across the state including two in Bengaluru and one each in Kolar, Kalaburagi,Davanagere,Tumakuru,Bagalakote and Vijayapura and recovered disproportionate assets worth ₹ 36.5 Crores .
Simultaneously searches at the residences,offices and residences of the relatives of the concerned accused Government Officers were conducted at more than 40 places and seized movable and immovable properties including sites,houses,land,cash,Jewels and vehicles total worth ₹ 36,53,05,737 from them.
The corrupt officials including;
T D Nanjundappa,Chief Engineer,Panchayath Raj Engineer Department,Panchayath Raj Bhavana,Ananda Rao Circle,Bengaluru.Searches were conducted in seven places and found documents related to Sites,3 Houses, Agricultural Land,Cash,Ornaments,and Vehicles worth ₹8.4 Crore.
H B Kalleshappa,Executive Engineer,BBMP,Bengaluru, The Lokayuktya officials searched six places belonging to Kalleshappa and recovered documents related to two Sites,three Houses and two Acer Agricultural land,₹32 lakh cash,₹15.10 lakh worth valuables,₹ 35.15 lakh worth vehicles and ₹ 70 lakh worth household articles,total value worth ₹ 6.5 crore.
Nagaraj G,Asst.Executive Engineer(AEE),BESCOM, KSSIDC Building,Rajajinagar,Bengaluru.searches conducted at three places and recovered documents related to two Sites,one House,10.3 Acers Agricultural Land,apart from ₹ six lakh cash,₹1.9 lakh worth old currency ,₹ 20 lakh worth jewels,₹21 lakh worth Vehicles,₹12 lakh worth household articles ,total worth 2.18 crore .
Jagannath,Project Implementation Unit,State Highway Development Project,K R Circle,Bengaluru.The officials conducted searches at six places and recovered documents related to two Sites,two Houses,48 Acers Agricultural Land,cash,jewelries,vehicles,household articles,bank accounts total worth ₹4.5 crore .
Nagaraj.J S,Designated officer,Food Safety and Quality Department, Davanagere,searches were conducted five places and recovered documents related to one Site, four Houses and three Acers Agricultural Land,cash, jewelries,vehicles and household articles total worth ₹ 6.14 crore .
Jagadeesh P,General Duty Medical Officer, Primary Health Centre, Tavarekere, Sira Taluk,Tumakuru Dist officials conducted six places and recovered documents related to five Sites,four Houses,14.3 Acers Agricultural Land, cash,ornaments, vehicles and household articles total worth ₹3.11 crore .
Mallappa Sabanna Durgad,FDA,Panchayath Raj Engineering Department,Bagalakote Dist,The Lokayukta officials raided three places belonging to the accused officer and recovered documents related to four Sites, three Houses,13 Acers Agricultural Land,cash, ornaments,vehicles and household articles worth ₹ 1.9 crore .
Shivanand Shivashankar Kembavi, FDA, Karnataka Housing Board, Vijayapura.The officials raided four places belonging to the accused officer and recovered documents pertaining to three Houses,four Acers Agricultural Land,cash,ornaments,household articles worth ₹3.6 crore from him.
The accused officials are booked under Prevention of Corruption act and further investigations are on.
