Three balloon seller from Rajasthan turned HBT offender arrested by Subramanyanagar police and recovered stolen property worth Rs.5 Lakhs

A particular type of bag carried by one of the suspect led to the arrest of three members gang of balloon sellers from Rajasthan who were involved in a house break theft.

The trio identified as Rajesh,42,Karan Singh,26 and Suresh Karan 22 used to move around the residential area on the pretext of selling balloons but also to keep a check on the locked house.

They would zero in on the house which was locked and conduct double check to confirm no one is around.

While two of them entered the house by breaking open the lock,the third one keep a watch outside and alert in case of any eventualities .

Using the MO,they had burgled a house in second stage A block in Rajajinagar on February 20 when the family had locked the house and left to work and escaped with 35 grams of gold valuables and 1.7 kilos of silver articles .

Based on the complaint,the police verified the CCTV footage from in and around and zeroed in on the trio .

Following the trail,the police kept a watch and detained them near Srirampura metro station where they would usually sleep.

The accused would sleep on footpath and at railway station and bus stands and one of them would go to their native and sell the booty to the jeweller and return with the money.

The police based on their confession recovered the stolen valuables worth five lakh from them.The accused confessed that they had committed similar offences and further investigations are on .
