The officials of Directorate of Revenue Intelligence on Wednesday caught a woman from Ghana red handed at the Kempegowda International airport and recovered 3.18 kg of Cocaine worth around 38 crore from her .
The accused was arrested based on her profile and travel history soon after she landed at the airport from Doha .
The accused was subjected to frisking and recovered the drugs which she had concealed in her body.
The woman suspected to be working as mule for the international drug smuggling racket and supposed to hand over the consignment to her handler waiting outside the airport .
The officials have stepped up the vigil following a highest drug houl busted by Mangaluru police and arrested two South African women having 37.878 kg of synthetic Narcotic Drug MDMA,worth Rs.75 crore.
The accused reportedly smuggled the drugs by a domestic flight from Delhi to Bengaluru, which indicated major security lapses .
