The Basaveshwaranagar police have arrested former contestants of Bigboss reality under arms act for creating a reel with a lethal weapon on social media for a promotion of a movie on Tuesday.
The accused has been identified as Rajat Kishan and Vinay Gowda.
Based on the complaint by Bhanuprakash,PSI,social media monitoring cell,the Basaveshwaranagar police charged Vinay Gowda and Rajath Kishan,charging them under Arms acts and committing a crime with common intention for further investigations.
The duo had uploaded an 18 seconds video on social media account showing the duo walking with a machette openly in public place without required permission .
This would not only create a panic among the residents but also shows their careless attitude about the law of the land,a senior police officer,said adding that the duo have been arrested and further investigation is on.
