Cops Warn erring monsters who are stealing government property will be dealt with stringent action.
The Rajajinagar police have arrested a event management inch
arge and recovered government property a Wheel clamp which was clamped to his vehicle for using defective silencer.
The cops are on the lookout for the woman who is said to be the owner of the company who has misbehaved with a traffic policeman and later on the run.
The accused has been identified as Suraj R (30) year old resident of Pattangere.
Senior officer said,The accused vehicle was wheel clamped and was locked by the Rajajinagar Traffic Police personnel for using defective silencer on 18th March in the evening and the accused escaped on 20th March with wheel clamp which was locked to his car.
Based on complaint by Murali SR,attached to Rajajinagar traffic station,the Rajajinagar police have charged the car owner and unknown woman under theft,criminal intimidation and intentional insult for further investigations on Sunday.
The complainant who was on patrolling duty received a complaint online about a car with defective silencer with crackers sound plying in the area causing noise pollution.
Mr.Murali located the car parked on 3rd block,15th main road parked haphazardly covering half of the footpath and the road which was already congested .
Mr.Murali located the owners through registration number identified as Suraj R and contacted the number .
The phone was received by an woman who started hurling abuses and shouted at Mr.Murali warning him not to take any action.
However as per the duty,Mr.Murali informed her to contact him and put the wheel clamp and left the place .
The accused later returned saw the clamp,reportedly called the mechanic for help and replaced the wheel and left the place .
When Murali called the number again,the woman misbehaved and threatened him with dire consequences stating that she would book a case against him and also get him suspended using her influence .
Few hours later when Murali returned to the place he found the car is missing along with the clamp.He checked the CCTV footage to confirm the incident before reporting the incident to his seniors.
Taking cognisance of this incident,the Rajajinagar Police have arrested the accused in record time and recovered the stolen government property as Wheel Clamp and produced him before the magistrate and remanded to judicial custody and cops are on lookout for the woman and further investigations are on.
