The Hebbal police have registered a cheating case against an unknown person who posing as IAS officer cheated a woman on matrimonial site and made away with three lakh .
The accused identified himself as Kishore Kumar claiming to be IAS officer working under the state government met the victim on matrimonial site and befriended her with his charm.
The duo soon exchanged the phone numbers and chatted for few days after which he proposed to marry her.Trusting him she shared her private details with photos and videos .
Few days later the accused citing medical emergency for his cancer patient mother,he sought financial assistance and taken Rs.3 lakh from her .
He later started demanding five more lakh and threatened to leak the private videos and photos on social media if she did not pay him.
The victim when warned to approach the police,the accused threatened her with dire consequences .
The victim claimed in her complaint that the accused had cheated many women with similar modus operandi on matrimonial site .
Based on the complaint the Hebbal police have registered a case and efforts are on to track down the accused.
