The honey trap issue raised by Cooperation Minister KN Rajanna,which was embroiled into politics till now taken a serious turn with CID taken up the case and initiated a probe on Thursday.
The Criminal Investigation Department (CID) officials headed by a senior police officer and his team initiated inquiry and visited the residence of the minister for spot investigation.
After a petition which was filed before the Home Minister,Dr.G.Parameshwara recently,which in turn forwarded to Alok Mohan,the Director General and Inspector General of Police (DG&IGP).Mr.Alok Mohan in turn forwarded the petition to the DGP,CID,MA Saleem, seeking detailed probe

meanwhile son of minister Rajanna also filed a petition with the DG-IGP alleging some people wanted to kill him and also recced his house.
Mr.Alok Mohan asked him to complain to SP Tumakuru for detailed investigation.
