The Southeast Division Police stepped up investigation to track down unidentified man who groped a woman while she was returning home late in the night.
The accused had been identified but he is on the run efforts are on to track him down,a senior officer said.
The victim said to be working in private firm returning home with her female friend when the accused followed her pushed her to the wall and groped her she raised alarm following which the accused escaped.
The entire incident was captured on CCTV installed at a near by house.
Even though the victim refrain from filing a complaint the owner of the house alerted the police based on which a case has been taken up.
The police have verified over 300 CCTV footage to identify the accused.
The cctv footage went viral on social media.
