In a swift action,the Peenya police have arrested a 19-year-old youth who along with his associates abduct a construction labourer and killed him brutally in a bid to rob him on April 6.
The deceased vikas from Bihar was returning home by walk to save Rs.15 when the gang noticed him thinking he had money from the week salary abducted near Chikkagollarahalli.
The accused took him to an isolated place assaulted with iron rod and with knife to torture and demanding money following which he breath his last.
The accused then dumped the body in an isolated place and fled.The police based on CCTV verification identified the accused as Santosh Kumar along with his associate a juvenile,while efforts are on to track down others.
