The CCB Police busted a online cricket betting racket and arrested three people including a city based caterer operating through the phones with the Foreign numbers to contacts the other bookies and punters .
The police raided the house based on the information and arrested Druva mittal,from Rajasthan who is operating from a rented house in JB Nagar the police seized Rs.83 lakh which was in form of currency chips and cash .
The accused had deployed his associate Rohith Ranjan at the stadium to monitor ball to ball development and update Mittal over the phone.
He would get the information and place the bet accordingly before the live telecasted which would take few seconds to upload .
Encashing this he would place the bet and make money worth crores .
Meanwhile the CCB officials also arrested another bookie identified as Vijay Kumar from Jakkur who was operating the betting racket through mobile app .
The investigations are on to ascertain their newtork,the CCB officials said .
