Moving Truck catches fire at Peenya flyover due to short circuit in the battery box no casualties

Traffic movement on Peenya flyover was disrupted for sometime when a moving truck catches fire due to short circuit in the battery box on Thursday afternoon.

The Yeshwanthpur traffic police rushed to the spot and blocked the traffic movement diverting the traffic below the flyover .

The fire and emergency service personnel rushed to the spot and put out the fire.

The truck driver and his assistant stopped the truck and jumped out to safety soon after noticing the fire.No one injured in the fire and due to the traffic movement blocked on flyover and all the vehicles were diverted to the adjacent roads,till the truck was pulled over to safety .
