*Bharata Ratna Dr.B.R.Ambedkar and Pourakarmikas’ Day program:
‘The best constitution in written form is our Indian Constitution’,said,S.R.Umashankar,Additional Chief Secretary,UDD and Administrator,BBMP.
He spoke after inaugurating the Bharat Ratna Dr.B.R. Ambedkar and Pourakarmika Day Program-2025 program organized at Dr.Rajkumar Glass House,BBMP Head Office.
Dr.B.R.Ambedkar gave the best constitution for the entire country.It is the best,most detailed constitution in the entire world.He said that this is not only for India but also for many countries of the world in the coming days.
Onti mane scheme,financial assistance for children’s of pourakarmikas education,various facilities and bonuses are being provided for pourakarmikas.
More funds have been allocated in the budget for several welfare programs.He said that more funds have been allocated this time than last time.
*Regularisation of 12,692 Pourakarmikas:
For the wellness of pourakarmikas BBMP has many welfare programs.We are regularising direct salary for 12,692 Pourakarmikas in the city.
The main reason for the regularisation of pourakarmikas is the Chief Commissioner,Special Commissioner,Zonal Commissioner and other officers,and I congratulate them all.
*Issuance of appointment orders on May 1:
While regularising the Pourakarmikas,no officer has given any chance for complaints,fraud,and abuses,and the regularising process has been almost completed.
After regularising,the Pourakarmikas will be able to lead a peaceful life in the coming days.He said that appointment orders will be given to those who become permanent in the state government program on May 1, 2025.
*Chief Commissioner,Tushar Girinath spoke and said that we all need to read and understand books about Dr. B.R.Ambedkar.
We should introduce his personality to everyone.We should make all his ideologies known to others,he opined.
Today,the children of pourakarmikas who scored good marks in SSLC,PUC and graduation were felicitated and all of them were given a book titled.
*”Thoughts of Dr.BR.Ambedkar.”He said that one should read it completely and inspire others to read and understand it.
*Garlanding of Dr.BR.Ambedkar statue:
Before to Dr.BR.Ambedkar and Pourakarmikas Day-2025 program,floral tributes were paid to the statue of Bharat Ratna Dr.BR.Ambedkar and Pourakarmikara Pithamaha, I.P.D.Salappa.
*Honour to Pourakarmikas’ children:
46 children of Pourakarmikas’who scored good marks in SSLC, PUC and graduation were honored.
*Honour to the best Pourakarmikas:
17 Pourakarmikas who did perform excellent service in eight zones of the BBMP were honored.
*Bonus to Pouarakarmikas:
On the occasion of Dr.B.R.Ambedkar Jayanti,a bonus of Rs.22,000 will be given to Regular Pourakarmikas and Rs.8,000 to direct-wage pourakarmikas.
Special Commissioners,Dr.K.Harish Kumar,Suralkar Vikas Kishore,Avinash Menon Rajendran,and Preeti Gehlot;Zonal Commissioners,Satish and Kareegowda, Deputy Commissioner (Admin) Manjunatha Swamy; Pourakarmikas and others were present on this occasion.
