he Yelahanka police have arrested a 21 year old man for killing a new born and tried to discard the body in garbage dumping yard.
The accused had illicit affair with a minor girl who delivered a baby.Her friends helped the delivery but could not wash the baby which died due to suffocating.
The accused decided to discard the baby wrapped in plastic and handed over the garbage bag to neighbour to check in the garbage pile.
The incident came to light when pourakarmika checked the cover and shocked to find new born baby dead.
The police rushed to the spot and verfied CCTV footage to identify the man who dumped the garbage.
The police reached his house and inquiry lead to the arrest of the accused.
The police have registered a case of POCSO and killing a new born baby for further investigation.
