An Assistant Public Prosecutor was killed when the scooter he was riding crashed into the speeding car on Soolibele road in Hosakote police station limits on Friday.
The deceased Nagesh,resident of Gangavara was returning home on scooter when the incident occurred.
He was working at Sakaleshpura court and had come home on vacation.
He had gone to Hosakote on personal work and returning home at around 7 pm when the car moving ahead suddenly took U turn.
Nagesh lost control and crashed into the car sustaining severe head injuries.Nagesh was rushed to a near-by hospital where the doctors declared him as brought dead.
The Hosakote traffic police have arrested the car driver charging him under death due to negligence and rash and negligent driving and seized the car for further investigation.
