A 35-year-old man was found hanging from a tree behind a school in Anekal on the outskirts of Bengaluru on Friday, police said.
The deceased made a 12 minute long video accusing several people including a local BJP leader for his death and uploaded it on his facebook.
The deceased has been identified as Praveen Kumar,a resident of Koranuru in Anekal,according to the police.
Kumar also worked as a BJP worker.The incident came to light after a passerby saw Kumar around 9 am on Friday and alerted the police.
Police believe that Kumar took the extreme step after 2 am because he uploaded the video around that time. Kumar claimed that he was assaulted by a few people on Thursday night.
He prominently named nine people identified as Kiran Gowda,Srinivasa Babu,Harish Gokula Fashion,Bhaskar Narayanappa,Madhu Gowda,Bhagya,Muniraju Gowda, and Saravana.
According to Kumar,he was assaulted because of a financial issue.He claimed that the suspects threatened him saying they would fix him in a NDPS case.
In the video Kumar urged the police that ‘Yaarne bitru Kiran na bidabedi.’He said that Kiran had done some crimes using Instagram and Facebook which were blamed on him (Kumar).
Police filed an FIR for abetting suicide after Kumar’s father registered police complaint.
CK Baba, Superintendent of Police, Bengaluru rural, said that they had arrested Kiran Gowda and Harish.
Probe
revealed that there was no financial dispute and also cleared there was no political reasons.The deceased had some personal dispute with the brother of one of the accused led him to take extreme step.
According to the FIR,Srinivasa Babu,local BJP leader and another suspect Bhagya had called Kumar on Wednesday tortured and threatened to kill him.
On Thursday,the suspects named in the FIR had summoned Kumar to a villa in Nayakanahalli and assaulted him over financial dispute for over two hours .
