Continuing investigations into the attack on Ricky rai,the Ramanagara district police,summoned Rakesh Malli,the prime suspect in the case at Bidadi police station and questioned him on Tuesday.
Rakesh Malli appeared along with his advocate and grilled by Superintendent of police,Srinivas Gowda and other senior police officials for over two hours to ascertain his possible role in the attack.
The police had earlier questioned four people including the gunman identified as Mannappa Vittal who was present at the time of attack .
The police with the help of ballistic experts analysing the bullet used in the attack and the weapons found with the gunmen and at the house of rickey.
Even though the the driver had filed a complaint alleging Rakesh Malli and Muthappa Rai’s second wife Anuradha, the police had expressed doubt going by the nature of attack and the timing .
Even the statement recorded from three security personnel of Ricky Rai had given different version about the attack,which has raised the suspecion .
The police have not made any arrest so far and further investigating in the case .
