The KS Layout police have registered a case of hurt against a group of three people who assaulted a professor of a private college over a trivial row on Monday.
The victim,Arabindo Gupta,was riding his two wheeler at Kadirenahalli cross in Minhajnagar when accused traveling in a car threw garbage bag on roadside .
Noticing the garbage cover containing glass pieces thrown dangerously,Mr.Gupta objected to their act,which could harm the passers-by .
Enraged by this the trio assaulted him black and blue and left the place.Mr.Gupta sustained injuries on his face and went to the near-by hospital for treatment before approaching the police .
He also recorded a video and uploaded it on the social media,highlighting his plight .
Taking cognisance the police have registered a case of hurt and initiated investigation.The police on Tuesday visited the spot and checked for the CCTv footage to identity the attackers .
